Series: Space

The four coins in this set are part of the Space Series commemorating Kazakhstan’s role in the exploration of outer space. The first coin of the series won the Best Coin of 2006 award.

The coins’ outer rim is made of 925 sterling silver weighing 41.6 grams. The inner disc is made of tantalum, a metal used in the aerospace industry, and weighs 26.8 grams.
